Working principle of aluminum foil sheeting machine

Aluminum foil sheeting machine is a device used to cut aluminum foil rolls into specific widths and lengths. It is widely used in packaging, electronics, building materials and other fields.


The working principle of aluminum foil sheeting machine is mainly based on the following:

1. Unwinding and tension control

Unwinding device: The aluminum foil roll is installed on the unwinding shaft and slowly unwinds by motor drive. Stable tension must be maintained during the unwinding process to prevent the aluminum foil from loosening or stretching.


Tension control: Pneumatic brakes, magnetic powder clutches or servo motors are used to adjust the tension to ensure smooth transportation of the aluminum foil.


2. Traction and deviation correction system

Traction roller: A rubber roller or steel roller driven by a motor clamps the aluminum foil to control the travel speed.


Deviation correction device: The edge position of the aluminum foil is detected by photoelectric sensors or ultrasonic waves, and the angle of the deviation correction roller is adjusted in real time to prevent the material from deviating and ensure cutting accuracy.


3. Cross-cutting (fixed-length cutting)

When the aluminum foil moves continuously, the cutter moves synchronously with the aluminum foil and completes the cutting, and then quickly resets.


4. Stacking or Rewinding

Stacking: The cut aluminum foil sheets are sent to the stacking table by the conveyor belt and neatly stacked according to the set quantity.


Rewinding: If rewinding is required after slitting, the rewinding shaft is driven by a motor to reel in the narrow aluminum foil after slitting, and the tension also needs to be controlled.


5. Control system

Core components: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and touch screen human-machine interface.
