At present, the cling film on the market is mainly processed from three raw materials:  PE,PVC and PVDC.

How to distinguish PE and PVC cling film?

I. To the naked eye: The transparency of PE material is poor, and the color is white; the gloss of PVC material is good, it looks clear and thorough.

II. By hand: PE material is softer, but the toughness is poor, and can be broken after stretching; PVC material has strong toughness, can be greatly widened and elongated without breaking, and easy to stick on hand.

III. Burning with fire: After the PE cling film is ignited with a fire, the flame is yellow and burns quickly, with the smell of candle burning; while the PVC cling film contains chlorine element, the flame is yellow-green after being ignited with fire, there is no dripping phenomenon, leave It will go out after the source of the fire, and it has a strong pungent odor.

IV. Immersion with water: Due to the different density of the two, the density of PE cling film is smaller than that of water, and will float up when immersed in water; while the density of PVC cling film is greater than that of water, it will sink when immersed in water.
