At present, there are generally two types of cling film on the market: one is ordinary cling film, which is suitable for refrigerator preservation; One type is microwave cling film, which can be used for both refrigerator preservation and microwave oven preservation. The latter type of cling film is far superior to ordinary cling film in terms of heat resistance, non-toxicity, and other aspects. Therefore, consumers should pay special attention to classified use in their choice of use. PE cling film is made of polyethylene resin as raw material, which has freshness and self-adhesiveness. It is suitable for packaging various meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, leisure foods, greasy foods, etc., including semi-finished products, cooked and frozen foods purchased in supermarkets. PVC cling film is usually added with a certain proportion of plasticizers during the production process due to processing needs, so it can be used for packaging vegetables, etc. However, it has poor oil and temperature resistance and cannot be directly packaged for meat, cooked food, and greasy food. It is also not allowed to be heated by microwave or used at high temperatures. The cost of PVDC cling film is relatively high, the processing difficulty is high, and the market share is not high. However, due to its lower oxygen permeability than polyethylene film, food is not prone to spoilage, so it is mostly used for preservation of cooked food and meat products.
